PQA’s Environmental Practice Group is experienced in assisting clients in complying with complex state and federal water, hazardous waste and air pollution regulations. Our attorneys are also experienced in obtaining the environmental permits required for the development of contaminated, or “Brownfield,” sites, and in obtaining the numerous governmental approvals required to allow the beneficial reuse of materials, such as dredge spoils, contaminated soils and other recyclable materials. Additionally, PQA provides legal guidance and support to businesses engaged in the handling of solid waste and recyclable materials.
PQA’s Environmental Practice Group regularly supports our Commercial Litigation Group in defending clients who have been sued for damages arising from spills and other soils or groundwater contamination, as well as those clients who have potential state or federal liability for claims for Natural Resource Damages.
