NJ Food Waste Recycling Law Effective October 2021

New Jersey enacted a Food Waste Recycling Law which will go into effect in October 2021. Under this new law, generators of 52 tons or more of food waste each year will be required to source separate their food waste and arrange for it to be delivered to a DEP authorized food processing facility unless that facility is located more than 25 miles away. With extensive experience working with DEP solid waste officials, PQA is uniquely qualified to represent clients in this new area.
