Robert A. Galizio

ROBERT A. GALIZIO was admitted to the Bar in 1987.  He graduated magna cum laude from Mount Saint Mary’s College and cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law.  He served as law clerk to the Honorable Michael D. Farren, Judge of the Superior Court, Monmouth County, New Jersey.

Mr. Galizio was associated for ten years with the law firm of Widman, Cooney and Barrett, Ocean, New Jersey where his practice concentrated on all aspects of insurance defense work ranging from automobile and comprehensive general liability to medical malpractice and other professional liability claims.  Mr. Galizio has litigated in state and federal courts on behalf of numerous insurance companies including Princeton Insurance Company, St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company, Hanover Insurance Company and many others.  He has litigated wrongful death claims, product liability claims and all aspects of personal injury actions including PIP, UM/UIM, premise liability and fire loss.  Since joining PQA in February, 1999, Mr. Galizio’s practice has been principally devoted to the Firm’s insurance fraud group with an emphasis on matters involving automobile-accident fraud rings and medical provider fraud.  In addition, he oversees the Firm’s PIP SIU Arbitration Department.  Mr. Galizio is also primarily responsible for the Firm’s real estate practice and has an extensive background in other areas of law including Bankruptcy, Municipal Court and Workers’ Compensation.
