PAUL ANZANO joined the law firm as a partner in January, 2000. He was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1983.
Mr. Anzano provides representation to a wide array of clients including numerous health and property casualty insurance companies, trade associations, municipalities, insurance producers, alcoholic beverage companies, financial institutions, health care providers, construction companies and disease prevention organizations.
Mr. Anzano served as Counsel to the New Jersey State Senate. He served as a Special Deputy Commissioner in the Department of Banking and Insurance. He was Of Counsel to the Trenton law firms of Picco Herbert Kennedy and DeCotiis, Fitzpatrick & Gluck where he was also a partner. He has comprehensive knowledge in the areas of insurance law, appropriations and government affairs. Mr. Anzano has an extensive practice before the Departments of Health and Senior Services and Banking and Insurance with particular focus on health insurance, managed care, property casualty insurance, hospitals and other health care providers. Mr. Anzano has a wide ranging government affairs/regulatory practice including representation of clients before the legislative and executive branches concerning legislation and administrative regulations with regard to finance, health care, hospital, insurance, labor, land use, local government and telecommunications issues.
He graduated cum laude from Rutgers University and from Seton Hall University School of Law where he served as a member of the student Senate and as a member of the Legislative Bureau.
Mr. Anzano served as the President of the Glen Afton Civic Association and is the immediate past President of the New Jersey Brain Injury Association. He is the Mayor of the Borough of Hopewell. He was elected to Hopewell Borough Council in 2004. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees of the Community Health Law Project. He is married to Christine O’Brien. They reside in the Borough of Hopewell with their daughters, Bridget and Maeve.
