PQA Partner John Haulenbeek has been named Managing Partner of Pringle Quinn Anzano, PC. In that role, John is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of PQA and its four offices, with 23 attorneys and more than 30 support staff. He is also be responsible for overseeing the Firm’s planned 10,000 square-foot expansion of its Belmar office.
Since joining Pringle Quinn Anzano, P.C., as Of Counsel in early 1996, Mr. Haulenbeek has chaired the Firm’s Commercial Transactions and Real Estate Practice Groups.
John was appointed by the Supreme Court in 2006 as one of New Jersey’s seven Bar Examiners.
John brings to his new management role his experience as General Counsel and Chief Operating Officer of Jersey Mike’s Franchise Systems, Inc., during the period it grew from 35 units to over 320 units in 25 states. John was responsible for the creation and implementation of system-wide processes that established the company as a multi-state restaurant system. He worked to create a corporate structure that addressed the business development, regulatory, training, procurement, operational and financial needs of both the parent company and its franchisees. He reported in that position to the Company’s President, and was responsible for the day to day operation of the Company as well as the strategic management of the system’s growth.
Prior to joining Jersey Mike’s Mr. Haulenbeek was associated for nine years with the law firm of Klatsky & Klatsky, Red Bank, New Jersey, where his practice concentrated on general corporate matters, commercial transactions and commercial litigation in both the law and chancery divisions for the Firm’s corporate and financial clients. He was responsible for the Firm’s representation of First Fidelity Bank, Midlantic National Bank and The Howard Savings Bank, which he represented in connection with transactional activities such as asset based lending, real estate based lending and government backed lending transactions. In addition, he was responsible for the foreclosure and other asset recovery litigation required by these financial clients of the Firm.
John is a graduate of Dartmouth College and received his law degree from Seton Hall University School of Law. He clerked for Superior Court Judges Benjamin R. Nicosia and Laurence A. Stammelman, and was admitted to the New Jersey Bar in 1983.
