Jeffrey S. Quinn
JEFFREY S. QUINN was admitted to the New Jersey Bar and the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey in 1992. He received a B.A. degree in Communications from Slippery Rock University of Pennsylvania in 1986, and received his Juris Doctor degree from Ohio Northern University College of Law in 1992, where he was an Associate Editor on the Ohio Northern University Law Review.
Mr. Quinn served as law clerk to the Honorable James P. Courtney, J.S.C., the Honorable Vincent J. Grasso, J.S.C., the Honorable Thomas E. O’Brien, J.S.C., and the Honorable Donald F. Campbell, J.S.C., in the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County in 1992 -1993.  Subsequent to his clerkship, he was an associate attorney with the Law Offices of Richard K. Sacks in Lakewood, New Jersey from 1993 to 1998, where his practice areas included matters involving automobile liability, premises and products liability, contract law, employment law, criminal law, school law, and residential real estate. Mr. Quinn has served as an attorney for the Ocean County Public Defender’s office and has been appointed as a Special Civil Part mediator for the Superior Court of New Jersey, Ocean County from 1993 to the present.
Since 1998, Mr. Quinn’s practice has been principally devoted to the Firm’s insurance fraud group, where he has specialized and successfully litigated complex insurance fraud litigation matters involving automobile-accident fraud rings, healthcare provider fraud, No-Fault PIP/UM/UIM claims, and automobile theft claims. Mr. Quinn has also been a frequent lecturer for the New Jersey Institute for Continuing Legal Education. Representative clients include Allstate New Jersey Insurance Company, Encompass Insurance, Mercury Insurance Group, and Selective Insurance Company of America.
At the 2008 New Jersey Special Investigators Association (“NJSIA”) conferences held in Atlantic City, NJ, Mr. Quinn was presented with a Recognition Award by the NJSIA Board in recognition of his continued legal counsel to the NJSIA and with regard to his legal expertise in handling SIU matters involving the insurance industry and combating insurance fraud.
